“Inn at the Woods was beautiful and tranquil. We were greeted and set up in the Forest Room, which offered a great view of the trees and the Sportsman Lake across the street. We brought our two dogs, which made great use of the nearby loop trail. It’s just a short drive from Friday Harbor town, and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again!”

“Super cute hotel! A little over priced in my opinion but good location. The decor in the lobby is adorable. Beds were quite hard and uncomfortable and very thin floors and walls they break down the tables right outside at 10:30 so that was pretty loud but it was a friday night so can’t be too mad about that. Overall cute stay! Loved the area, wish we could have been there longer. ”

“I loved the view, the lovely private balcony, the cozy room and decor. I would definitely stay again. The management were very responsive and helpful as well. The electric fireplace is also a cozy addition that I made good use of since it is pretty cold in March, still.”

“The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom……

“We loved our cabin with a view of the water. Kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, coffee, pots and pans and dishes - everything we needed. Fireplace was toasty with free firewood. We’ll be back!”
