「The property was walkable to all of the sites in Oban including the ferry terminal. It offered free parking. Breakfast was not included with the room, but there were plenty of restaurants close by.」

「It was fantastic that you can literally get off the Scot rail train at Morar and walk 50m to the door of the hotel! Which was especially amazing given it was pouring rain when we arrived. It was a lovely little place, friendly helpful staff at reception and in the restaurant. Restaurant food was fabulous, and we saw an amazing sunset through the clouds as our meal ended and the rain stopped. Excellent and memorable stay. 「Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Every single staff person was friendly, helpful and worked hard to make my our stay wonderful. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent. Even the takeaway breakfast they supplied for our early departure was perfect. Our room #11 was spotless and plenty of room (contrary to other reviews). We did hear a lot of water noise from an adjacent bathroom which sounded like it was directly behind our headboard. Other than that, this was truly a perfect 3 nights.」

「Staff was very friendly and while there is no food on the property, there are many establishments within walking distance. They have a great bar downstairs and we had a great time hanging out and listening to the many local musicians who wandered in and played. One of the highlights of our trip!」
