「Lovely small hotel, the staff couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are lovely and the location is excellent. We stayed here the night before climbing Pico and we were allowed to leave our bags and come back to the hotel the following day. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. It was one of our groups birthday whilst we stayed here and they made her feel very special. The sea is closeby if you want a swim and lots of lovely restaurants. The spa is excellent also....

「Super Empfang von sehr nettem Personal, schöner Pool, toller Ausblick auf die Weinfelder und Faial, Zimmereinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Frühstücksauswahl mit Rührei, Käse, Joghurt, Gemüse, Obst, Marmelade. Weil unsere Fähre früh fuhr, bekamen wir sogar etwas früher Frühstück. 」

「Wonderful studio that overcame our expectations. Perfectly situated one step to the church and the ferry terminal. Madalena as such isn‘t spectacular, but a lovely little community. Very kind manager, easy to reach, no probs! Very pleased that it gave the possibility not to change towels every day and not to clean every day - eco responsible!」

「We had a truly lovely stay at this charming guesthouse. The owner and her husband are without a doubt the sweetest people we met during our trip. On the morning of our departure, her husband even offered, completely on his own initiative, to drive us to the ferry. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days and deserves to be recognized. The place itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout, with a beautiful common area...

「Es war wundervoll! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Ich glaube die Zimmer wurden vor nicht langer Zeit renoviert, jedenfalls sind sie in top Zustand, sowie Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind einwandfrei. Die Terrasse ist atemberaubend <3. Das ganze Team ist super lieb und hilfsbereit. Man kann sogar Wäsche abgeben. :) Würde jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft.」

「Aussergewöhnlich schöne Lage mit beeindruckendem subtropischen Garten und freier Sicht auf den Atlantik. Das Gastgeberehepaar ist sehr freundlich, achtsam und aufmerksam. Was für ein netter Empfang bei der Ankunft! Die Schonung der Ressourcen wird mit Überzeugung gelebt. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war intakt und funktionsfähig. Die Küche des Apartments war sehr gut ausgestattet. 」
