“The Drake Bay Getaway was an unexpected delight! Views from the room were exquisite, as each villa is perched on a hillside with an ocean view. The manager was extremely helpful and spent time explaining about the surrounding area and animal life. We felt as if we were staying with family! Meals were beautifully prepared, offering a sampling of the local food. The location was great too, allowing for quiet relaxation, yet still convenient for activities.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was really clean wit amazing, open spaces and a nice pool. The washroom was clean and the rooms were really comfortable with AC and multiple beds, towels, and some blankets. Raquel was an awesome host and gave us really great recommendations nearby including restaurants and a convenience store. We weren't expecting so many critters but it was easy to keep them out of the bedrooms and didn't interfere much with our stay. It was such a good environment to……

“Notre séjour à Hotel Alma de Ojochal a été absolument magique. Dès notre arrivée, Ana, la responsable, nous a accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et beaucoup de professionnalisme. Elle est attentionnée, disponible et veille à chaque détail pour que l’expérience soit parfaite. L’hôtel est petit, intimiste et plein de charme. “The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff……

“We stayed in room 20. Awesome view. Close to the office,breakfast and dining room/bar. Because this was low season, not a lot going on. Very quite. We had dinner 2 night with the cheif Sofia. What great meals. We walked into the small town for 3 other dinners. The Managers had very good recommendations. Also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.”
