“We love this place, it is stunningly beautiful, clean, food and service are top notch! Thank you Roxy you are a real gem! We will be back! 💕”

“Aguila del Osa is a dream hotel with wonderful views from the bedroom and main lobby/restaurant. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we saw many birds including hummimg birds right outside our room. There is a nice walk around the hotel and you can also take a trail into the rainforest and the nearby Cocalito Beach, All the staff speak excellent english and are very friendly and provide excellent service. The meals are very delicious with generous portions. The hotel offers a good range of……

“It was a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing and the birds chirping. Very close to restaurants and all of the tours and the host was awesome and very accommodating! Highly recommend!”

“House was exactly as advertised and had a great view. There was a berry tree in front of the house and every day two red Macaws would perch there followed by two toucans. The breakfast was great and you can walk down the stairs right to the beach. The only drawback was the hike up to the house, but everything else was perfect.”

“Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway.……

“The place has a good location in the city, but all the facilities (kitchen and appliances) are very old and nothing like the photos. Also the hosts don’t give any information about the place and activities…. just give you the key and you are on your own.”

“The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff……

“Perfect oasis by the river! Privacy and tranquility, with a pool and bar just steps away.”

“Our room, bathroom, and balcony were spacious. The pool area was nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They made our stay special. Breakfast was made to order and excellent.”

“Love this place. Delightful owners, wonderful view and jungle property, excellent food and cocktails! If you do the beach hike through the jungle, have bug spray! 😄”

“Getting to the property was a little confusing as a foreigner. Eventually I found it & everything was good. Communication with the host was good. Any issues that occurred I was able to inform the host & it was handled promptly. I understand it being in the jungle & or nature habitat so there was naturally bugs & pests, scared me a little but it was fine. I really enjoyed the home it was beautiful!”

“Súper recomendado, muy buena atención, lugar muy seguro y la atención excelente”

“We stayed in room 20. Awesome view. Close to the office, breakfast and dining room/bar. Because this was low season, not a lot going on. Very quite. We had dinner 2 night with the cheif Sofia. What great meals. We walked into the small town for 3 other dinners. The Managers had very good recommendations. Also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.”

“Muy buen servicio. ”

“Nothing "special", but I had a good sleep in quiet. This village is quite small and not so much noise at nighttime. Restaurant in same area, breakfast pretty okay. Nice service, If you have more time-they arrange tours in the area. ”

“The staff were amazing. Everything we needed help with was anticipated. The level of service was amazing. The rooms are really nice- well air conditioned beds comfortable. Food was very good. Just a wonderful resort. We would definitely go back.”
