“The property was lovely. The rooms were extremely clean, but what made my experience top-tier….. Were the employees!!! There were three people that I saw working during my stay. They were all African-American. There was a Lady, a younger gentleman and an older gentleman. All of them were just wonderful. I wasn’t a fan of the parking situation, but it was in downtown so it is what it is but due to how wonderful the staff was I’d come back again even though I didn’t enjoy the parking situation.……

“I was surprised when I checked in after paying upfront for my room that I was required to pay to park in the parking lot of the hotel I had already paid for the room in. I was charged an additional $20 just to park overnight. The room was sufficient for my needs, close to downtown, although the shower had minimal water pressure.”

“Expedia created an issue at the hotel in which I was asked to pay an additional $25 (approximately). It took hotel staff some time to figure it out.”

“The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. It is secure and convenient, so I think it is worth it, though a better rate would be appreciated. In a hotel you will always have noise from the heat pumps and ventilation, and if you are on……

“Parking was secure and safe. A lot of food and things in the area to do it seemed. Only stayed one night. Pool was clean however could use some maintenance. Overall the hotel was clean: breakfast was hot and had good choices. Room was clean but my biggest complaint was the bathroom. The tub was not level and pooled water. The bathroom needed updating. The shower head wasn’t great. The tub was slippery. Our bed was very elevated. My mother is 4”10 and in her 70’s she could not get in it without……

“Hotel was clean and exactly as listed! Breakfast was perfect with waffles, eggs, French toast, cereal, yogurt and various breads. The bar tender, Stephen, was amazing!!!! He offered suggestions as to some great places to visit and also made fantastic cocktails! This hotel was only a few blocks from 4th Street Live! Great place to stay! Will definitely be going back! ”
