"This place was just so neat as it's located at the entrance to the Isle of Skye. Staff are all lovely people and the room is very spacious. I also really enjoyed the view while having breakfast. Would definitely recommend!"

"Front the start at check in was excellent very promt and efficent. Bar staff they were ok not rude but when I complaint about my pint of Tennents as it was flat they werent happy as I knew what the fault was and tried to give them advice but they werent having it so get new tumblers as the glass I had was from 2008 they need to be renewed every 2 to 4 yrs and be generated every 6 weeks. Come to my room very basic single bed comfortable enough and batheroom was very modern and nice downside you could hear everything guy next door snoring doors banging just no need not hotels fault a suppose. Breakfast in morning buffet style very nice and the food was awsome cant fault that at all even the staff were lovely who seated me. "

"We’ve been traveling Scotland for a week and this was the most expensive stay, yet the accommodations were lacking. Cons: The bed sagged, you could hear people walking above you and the noise from the neighboring tv. Pros: it was clean, they had nice linens, and the staff were very friendly. Their restaurant was very good. Breakfast at the hotel had many options, however they were reluctant to refill after the tour bus left. Way too pricey for what we got. "

"This property is a very expensive disappointment. We woke up on our last morning with no heat, no hot water and no staff to contact until 10am after the check out time. Breakfast is cereal boxes and a few loaves of bread on table in a common room. The windows in our ground floor room did not lock on their own so also a safety risk for belongings and guests. We booked as a last resort and paid a lot to stay here. Please don't do the same."

"The hotel is in a convenient location for the town and train station. There’s also lots of parking. However, the hotel is tired and atmosphere was not welcoming. The Reception staff checked us in was cold efficient - so we got a room key! We heard other Receptionists give info about breakfast and amenities but we got none! Room was functional but stuffy and tired. We booked twice to eat in the restaurant but cancelled the 2nd one as the food was so awful (pie was the only hot thing due to it’s obvious encounter with a microwave, veg was inedible and mash was congealed). Staff were disinterested and also drinks arrived after the food - we had to ask twice about them by that stage. Even the hotel name on the frontage was missing half of its letters, it just seems that the hotel rests on it’s location so if that’s what you need it’s fine but we’d definitely recommend dining elsewhere. "
