「Everything was top notch 」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some...

「The house itself was wonderful-spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. It was easy to relax and felt like a great base for our trip. The beds and sheets were clean, and there were plenty of towels, which we appreciated. There were a few issues that took away from the experience. When we arrived, the heating wasn’t on and there were no instructions in the guest book, so we had to message the property manager to figure out how to turn it on. There was also no firewood provided....
