"The staff was helpful. We had an issue with the hot water and they fixed it almost immediately. The vibe was perfect for our weekend away. I would love to stay there again on our next trip to Austin. "

"For the price it was very good. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked. The pool was rather small and I didn’t use it, but I saw some children having fun in it. The adjacent restaurant, The Hideaway,had very good food at a reasonable price. It’s located near the airport and near roads that can get you anywhere in the city. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Even though right outside the hotel was dirty and chaotic, the moment we walked into the Tommie we felt an elevated essence and safe surroundings. The rooms are small but ended up being quaint and enjoyable. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE!!!! We were surprised by the fourth floor Arriba Abajo and highly recommend guests spending more time there! The location was great overall and close to dirty fun on the "Dirty 6th" but also seconds away from find dining, walking...

"Lots of major construction in the area made for lots of noise starting early in the morning. "

"I had a nice stay at the Hyatt Place. It was within walking distance to an event I was attending (super close to convention center and light rail, rental scooters available close by). The rooms seemed clean, bed was okay for hotel (I've had better and MUCH worse) there was some noticeable wear on sofa from previous guests mishandling it. Staff was available and helpful when we needed them. Valet parking was $56/day during the stay (no self park option that I saw) drop off and pick up was easy....

"First and foremost, with Mitchell at the front desk as the first public facing impression of the facility, the Holiday Inn Austin Town Lake will ALWAYS be my first and only choice! He is so warm, kind, efficient and simply a wonderful human being who in turn makes this tourist feel like the most important client he has ever taken care of! Despite the age of the building, it is lovely! I had the good fortune of experiencing the charm of an older space and the absolute pleasure of a lake view room...
