“Staff were friendly. Only complaint is amount of hair left behind on carpet. Breakfast was decent.”

“Overall it was great. Love convention, where the location was. Just's need to remove all tree twigs. ”

“Stayed at the O'Neil this past weekend for my husband's birthday weekend. We had reservations for Chef and the Farmer for Saturday evening which was just down the street, perfect location for the restaurant and Mother Earth Brewery. We went to New Bern on Saturday very easy drive from Kinston.”

“Clean. Pleasant innkeeper willing to make accommodation for late arrival and early departure. Bed not that comfortable and the room was too dark. Light blown out in ceiling fixture and only one dim lamp. Could use nightstand on both sides of bed. Arived on a cold, very rainy night. Had the fireplace (gas) been on and if there was more light in entry parlor, would have seemed more welcoming. All in all, a good experience, but not stellar.”

“Very nice place, and located near many things. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before and didn't know what to expect. The breakfast was different than anything we had ate before, we would have preferred the regular breakfast items, but it was fine for the B&B experience. Overall, I'd recommend this place.”
