“Darren, the homeowner and innkeeper, met us at the door to this lovely home/inn. He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. Very cozy atmosphere and a soft bed was just the remedy for a long day in the road. Highly recommend this wonderful……

“They are currently doing some renovations so it was not quite as neat as it could be if they were not having the renovation causing messes”

Tiffany’s breakfast was amazing. The grounds around the place are covered with lush vegetation thanks to Tiff’s hubby Bob. We spent hours in conversation with them and felt like family.
