「Unique lodging experience overlooking the Black River. Very nice room. Excellent staff service. In the midst of the historic district with lots of restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. Only issues: next to an outside bar that plays music until midnight (at least on weekends). Blinds do not keep out the light very well. No dedicated parking. 」

「Great hotel in a beautiful, historic building. Very clean. Because we booked through Expedia, we weren't allowed to have the breakfast that was being served. If you're paying to stay at a hotel that serves complimentary breakfast, why should you be excluded simply because you didn't book direct?」

「The hotel needs renovation. Carpet was bad making hallways dingy. Ice machines not working. We stayed 4 nights no cleaning service and no soap in shower (we caught up with staff and they gave us some). The staff overall was great. 」
