“The property looks a little dated from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. Recently renovated and absolutely fabulous . Only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that the walls seem to be very thin. I could literally hear the person in the next room peeing eww.”

“Clayton the main man at the motel is a great bloke, runs an exceptional motel.Rest of his staff and cleaners are nice people.Parkings great with a decent security fence.I work at Avon Downs NT and our entire crew stayed there the evening of our Christmas Do. Rooms are allways clean and well presented.The Motel is walking distance to a lot of varied venues for eating out/entertainment.Im very likely to return to the Burke and Wills!!!”

“Soft bed which I liked but the pillows were thick and hard so not so comfy. Fairly quiet No hand soap so used bath gel when I washed my hands No shelf in the bathroom All around, pretty good.”

“Great place, perfectly tidy neat gardens and outside appearance, just a bit far from town.”

“Needs a good clean, cobwebs, doors are dirty, linen was dirty, furniture was stained. There is no reception it’s at a different hotel you have to ring when you get there.”

“Staff was the only thing that stood out 100% the best. Cabin 16 was a disgrace, very poor , needs maintenance bad, Air con filters need cleaning badly disgusting, Stove is 50 years old , rubbish , Fire hose falling from the outside wall , stairs are dangerous loose anti slip on tread, Tooth brush on ledge in shower cubical and medication plunger on bunk bed from previous people who stayed there , Shower rose needs replacing, Had to have the park maintenance guy come to fix the……

“Clean room and friendly staff”

“The shower is just metal flooring with no waterproof wall panels. There’s a slight sewage smell from the toilet which is heavily stained from mineral deposits in the water. Both shower and toilet rooms require full renovation. Pillows and bed coverings appear new and the bed was comfortable. Couldn’t get wifi to work at all.”
