「We have been coming here for 15 years. They really need to update the workout room, the machines are old and not working. The bathroom showers still need grout cleaning and I told the front desk. Paid $370 for waterfront room for one night. They do allow you to go on the lake early upon arrival while you wait for the room. The kids love stopping here before we spend the week in saranac. It's a great hotel but definitely can use some updating in certain areas. The landscaping by the pool area...

Check out is at 10am, I wish it was maybe till noon for what you pay for but I understand because the cabins need to be cleaned. It was great!」

Having stayed here several times in the past it really has declined in the past experiences we have had there. Our room was clean and the accommodations fine but the rest of the area needed service especially at the front desk and departure.」

「The property is certainly unique, but you have to know certain things before booking. It’s run more like an Air abnb than a hotel. There’s no formal check-in or check-out process. If you arrive before 5 PM the restaurant will be closed and there will be no one to assist you or answer any questions.
