“Large hotel in Douglas Co Cork. It was busy with social functions but due to being on the 5th floor I wasn't impacted by noise. Hotel room was clean but corridors and shared areas were dated and a bit shabby in places”

Our server George was very friendly at River Bar as well. Overall we really enjoyed our time and would stay there again if ever go back to Cork! ”

“The staff where excellent, all so very friendly and lovely to us. I travel alot, and for a big hotel, I was taken back by the friendlyness and helpfulness of the staff, you don't see that enough anymore. We arrived late and was greated by a funny and friendly porter. The reception staff, in the pool and breakfast staff, all went out their way to help us. Would highly recommend ”

“Nice and friendly upmarket venue with nice breakfast,but the ensuite bathroom smelled of mildew,which caused black ceilings in the shower.Bathroom door had to be wedged open to try and provide air to reduce the bad smell of mildew which also pervaded the corridor.”

“Comfortable stay in quiet environment. Only complain is intermittent Wifi connection. Also, if you plan to walk between hotel and city center, it is a very tiring climb back to hotel, not advisable for elderly people or carrying lots of stuffs.”

“What a wonderful clean comfortable hotel. We had a view of the harbour that was amazing to wake up to. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone was really helpful…cannot say enough good things about it.”
