“Staff very friendly and nice ! Wonderful”

“The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are spacious clean and up to date. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast room was very spacious and clean as was the bar and restaurant. The food was fantastic. The grounds and old building at the rear were beautiful and the trail to the Proleek Dolmen was beautiful to walk and experience. Would love to stay again but during the summer months so we could enjoy the rose garden. ”

“A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. ”

“Lyn was wonderful. The room was spotless and had everything we could need. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and eating in the lovely sun room watching the sheep graze was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend, and will definitely stay again if in the Carlingford area. Thank you! ”

Staff were very welcoming, breakfast was impeccable and the room itself was spacious with a lovely view of the garden and mountain, and with a very comfortable bed. “Nice accommodation (needs a better sofa!!!) but lacking for nothing otherwise...Close to newgrange & battle of boyne ...the boyne valley drive is a good one to do...lots to see & do”
