「This is a one-time grand hotel that has aged not-that-well. The outer facade is in desperate need of a makeover, or at least a paint job.. The hotel seems understaffed (I had to leave a message with room service) and the restaurant workers tried their best but seemed overwhelmed by the volume (and it wasn't even nearly at capacity). The location is unbeatable but it would behoove them to do a serious rehab….」

「We really wanted to love our stay here but it was just miss after miss. At check in they could not find our reservation, despite having the email with our confirmation number. It took a manager and an additional 20 minutes of standing around to get checked in. The pool area is underwhelming. No actual swim up bar so you have to get out of the sickeningly hot water to order your $12 beer at the bar. They were understaffed while we were there and kept telling people the kitchen was extremely...
