「Amazing hotel clean, fresh, rooms are lovely, nice size and complementary tea and coffee and mini fridge stocked, Jan the owner was lovely very welcoming, car parking is limited on site but that didn’t bother us we parked in a side street near the hotel, lovely location, shop few steps away, Carbis bay hotel and beach literally 5/10 minutes walk but mind the hill on the way back up, you can drive down but parking can be expensive for the day and limited spaces.
Definitely return.」

「Nicely located a short walk from both beaches and the town centre. It is very clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was lovely. Mary who ran it was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The parking spot is invaluable in St Ives as there is literally nowhere to park without paying a fortune (if you can find a car park with a free space that is). The town has very narrow single lane roads so the last thing you want to be doing is driving round looking for somewhere to park. Very pleased...

「The Borthalan Hotel was amazing from the friendly and extremely helpful owners to the beautiful facilities and view. The owners provided all that we needed to get into St Ives and to walk around the local Carbis Bay Area - this made the visit that much more enjoyable. There is plenty of parking if you are driving to the Borthalan - which was a huge plus. The Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and they met all of my wife’s gluten allergy needs. We will absolutely visit again.」
