The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. "Room was amazing. The old architecture with modern amenities was great. The onsen was beautiful. The hotel itself and the area around the hotel, including the gardens were stunning and fun to explore. A perfect oasis, I wish we could have stayed longer. Some lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance. The free shuttle up the hill to the train station was appreciated, although the walk down to the hotel is worth doing. Stop at Naraya cafe as well!"
