“We really liked the hotel, the room was very clean and stylish. The car park was secure, however, the surrounding area left us feeling uneasy due to the close proximity to the prison. One recently released prisoner tried to latch onto our family and join us for dinner whilst we were walking to a restaurant which left us all feeling uneasy especially the children. “Paul met us on arrival. Explained everything clearly. Very helpful and friendly. Dirty around property meaning on the main path outside property burst and rotten and smelly rubbish all along path guessing the council bin men have had strike action and council not quick enough to clean area up thoroughly.”

“The parkland area around the hotel was a nice walk along with the walled garden. The staff was friendly and answered questions patiently. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was lovely. ”
