“I love the Wee Cottage! My husband joined me for the first 4 days and I stayed for another 10. The cottage is SO cute and just what everyone wants for a writer's retreat! My husband and I did the Duff House walk & Banff history walk (there is a WalkHighlands website that has a ton of walks). For dinner we went to a lovely restaurant at the top of the hill in MacDuff, Knowles Hotel. “A fantastic find. The cottage had everything you could wish for including a huge secure walled garden for our Setter lad. The cottage is one of two so normally we would have shared the garden but this time we had it to ourselves, something to consider if your pet prefers their own space. Two cafes very close by, a short walk to the village harbour and places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend and we will certainly return. ”

“We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!”

“Mo and Al were amazing hosts. They made us feel like relatives they havent seen in a while. We had a welcome pkg of fresh eggs, and vegetables from their garden. Mo's home made Victorian cake was to die for. The cottage was very large and had amazing views. In a great location for short day trips. We will be staying there again in the future.”

“We had such a lovely welcome from Ramsay at Garden Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a larged walled garden looking over to the Aberdeenshire hills. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The living area is spacious and has full length windows and a window seat looking onto the garden. There are plenty of places of interest to visit close by and a bit further afield. We would love to come back to stay here and explore more.”
