However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. 「Safe, clean, quiet, and cosy. A quaint walk from the train station. My only issue is that I found the room to be quite cold with no way to adjust the temperature myself. There is no staff on the property, so not an easy fix. 」

「The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night....

「Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. 「Clarach bay holiday park was a really nice location. Ok for dogs. The position of the chalet was reasonable walk to the beach and club house. The chalet was reasonably clean but needs some serious TLC. Electrics too many extention leads and the RCD kept tripping.」
