“Well appointed historic property on a bluff with a view of the Mississippi River. Had the pleasure of seeing an incredible sunset during my stay. Recommend & would stay again.”

“Lee and David were lovely hosts and very welcoming to our toy poodle,Tucker. The room was quite large with beautiful antiques from David’s family. Please don’t miss the tour of the upper floor, which houses 7 generations from David’s family. It was incredible, so beautiful. Thanks, we’ll definitely stay there if we ever get back to Natchez.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!”

“A cozy home away from home in the heart of Natchez”

“Wow! What an Absolutely Amazing Experience! From beginning to end, this experience exceeded every expectation! Colleen, the owner and host, checked every box—and then some. Her warmth, sincerity, gracious hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable. From the personal welcome and fascinating historical tour at check-in to the delightful evening cocktail hour, every detail was exceptional. The accommodations beautifully combined elegance, comfort, privacy, and……

“Debbie and Gregory were wonderful hosts. They made you feel right at home in a history rich location. Make sure you make time for the breakfast, it was delicious.”

“The property is a large antebellum mansion plus a couple of cottages set among ancient live oaks in the countryside about 15 minutes from the historic center of Natchez. It is nothing short of spectacular. The owner and staff are lovely ladies in the Southern tradition (even if they are transplants from up north.) The house guests all have a full breakfast together at the dining room table, which makes for friendly discussions of fun plans for the day. I personally did not sip a toddy on the……

“Fire alarm chirping all night our first night. They did change the batteries the next morning. Caretaker of the house is so very sweet. ”

“Our stay was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for dinner options. The room was a nice size, bed was comfortable. Nice location with a nice view of the river and sunset. Breakfast was light and very tasty.”

“Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.”

“The owner was a great host. He was very informative and knowledgeable. His home is a museum of beautiful antique furniture and paintings. We especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood and admiring all the beautiful historic homes. The home cooked breakfast was 5 star and served beautifully on an impeccably set table. The antique dishes and silver serving pieces were gorgeous and made for a dining experience that takes you back in time.”

“We were thoroughly pleased with our experience and stay at Clermont. Sandra, the caretaker, was super sweet and friendly. Sandra and the owner, Ben, were very helpful with questions about the Natchez area. It was a great relaxing 10 year anniversary stay for us. We definitely will be returning. ”
