"Love the old cabin feel, the view was fantastic and the amenities were clean and operational.
We ate at the restaurant and was seated on the patio with an amazing meal. Had the Salmon, Wedge Salad and the chocolate dessert. We were pleased with all three items. Cabins are a bit small and somewhat dated, but the lodge is where its at."
"My stay at this hotel was one of the most disappointing and misleading experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel’s own information — both online and inside the room — was inaccurate, contradictory, and ultimately false, creating a situation where I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel the same night.
The hotel’s listing showed photos of rooms with kitchens, which was the only reason I booked here. I’m on a strict diet and need a kitchen to prepare my meals. When I arrived, the manager informed me that none of their rooms have kitchens at all. Not a single one.
Inside the room, there was even a notice stating that a communal kitchen was available in the lobby upon request. When I contacted the manager to access it, she told me there is no kitchen anywhere on the property for guests. This means the hotel’s own posted information was false — a complete misrepresentation of amenities.
On top of that, there was no access to the lobby or front desk, not even for check‑in. The lobby was locked, and the hotel simply texted me a door code to enter my room. There was no staff presence, no in‑person assistance, and no way to speak to anyone directly.
Shortly after checking in, the bathroom sink clogged completely. I contacted the manager, who said someone would come fix it, but no one ever showed up. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone altogether because they had no staff available to help. At that point, I had no kitchen, no support, and not even a usable bathroom"
"A wonderful cozy mountain retreat with great people. I spent two days there and absolutely loved it.
Only con- if you need an elevator they don't have one. Two stories only.
Highly recommend this hotel and Grand Lake, CO.
Easy hikes within reach."
Stunning Unobstructed Lake & Mountain Views, Hot Tub, In-Town, 1 mile to RMNP
10/10 Excellent
"We were in Grand Lake for a destination wedding and stayed at this home. The location was in the heart of the town with amazing views of the mountains and lake. Our first night featured 6-7 mule deer at the end of the driveway - very exciting! The house had nice sized bedrooms, hot tub for relaxing after hikes and a large kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and large with en-suite bathrooms. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very friendly to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to others vacationing to the area."
"THE ROUNDHOUSE" IN TOWN/360° LAKE & MTN VIEWS/2 DECKS/ SLED IN & OUT TO TRAILS
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely beautiful property, could live on the deck. Super walkable, park right down the hill was great for kids. Great communication with host. 11 out of 10 stay."
Renovated 1940's Cabin Located in a Peaceful Grand Lake Village Location
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was as advertised! The cabin was adorable. As mentioned, the doorways and beams were low. The shower was also very small. But the location was perfect, Grand Lake is a beautiful little town. My husband and I had a great time hiking the East Inlet Trail up to Lone Pine Lake and back, the trailhead is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. We hope to be back soon."
"Got there and the room they had for us would the door would not open and the front desk clerk was new but nice. Had to leave and come back 90 min later and room was still not ready because she could not get in. Had to leave again and go back an hour later. Got there and she had a different room us, but we could not leave because the front lock would not work. Only had a king and she brought in a mattress and I had to
Sleep on the floor. Also the room was clean but overall in bad shape. Lamps in drawers which was strange. Outside of the brand new front desk employee trying to help us out the overall experience is awful and would not stay there again."
