“Pros: Rustic but beautiful property with simple but comfortable rooms. Restaurant has great breakfast and dinner on-site.
Cons: Our room was not ready when we arrived, staff had it ready in 20 minutes and provided free drinks and appetizers while we waited.
Overall it was a great experience.”

“Very family oriented, super clean, and oh so relaxing. We did call the host as the internt wasn't working, only to find it was unplugged.Such a nice time, this property is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. My family had such an amazing time. There wasn't a dock, and that was stated prior to renting, however, there is a marina just over the bridge, which was very accommodating. If I'm ever back in this area, I would look for this place again. Love it!”

“The Bear Lodge was the perfect home base for our vacation! The home is immaculate, with everything you need, from kitchen essentials, to water activities and everything in between. The Trow’s are lovely hosts, available for any needs but not intrusive at all. The lake is spectacular, and my husband has never caught more fish in a week than he did here!”
