Great location, spacious home with all of the amenities. Very nice outdoor space to enjoy nature. We spotted deer, butterflies, lightning bugs and lots of different birds. Close to wineries and lots of hiking!

Great weekend getaway

Met family from PA for a "halfway point" and this house was perfect. Great dining room and fire pit for evening gatherings. Excellent communication with Holly and a bottle of wine waiting to greet us. We will be back!

Nice Property, Great Area

The property was clean and as-advertised. The host had clear communication and instructions. The price was reasonable, and our group had a wonderful stay. The area is gorgeous, and the house was near many wineries.

Perfect getaway!

We could not have asked for a more wonderful stay! Location, cleanliness, firepit, everything was absolutely perfect. Full disclosure, a few of the beds are VERY FIRM. Pack a mattress pad if you are particular about your mattress. But certainly not a deal breaker. Just a heads up to prepare. The house was spotless. There was plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend and I would absolutely stay here again.

Great Girls Getaway!!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Time to Wine Down! The house was spotless and the perfect setup for the 5 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, including lots of K-Cups and hot chocolate. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless. We had a few questions leading up to and during our stay and Holly responded immediately every time. The location was perfect for visiting several wineries and breweries. Most of those close around 5 and there aren’t food options near the house. It’s about a 15-20 drive for food and grocery stores so just plan accordingly. We enjoyed our stay, and will recommend this home to others and stay here in the future.

Fantastic family getaway

We stayed for two nights on our way home from DC. The location was great! Five minutes from great food, wine, vineyards and activities. We were also less than 30 minutes from Monticello. The house was perfect for our family of 6 and our dog! I would highly recommend staying here and we are hoping to be back!

Great weekend getaway

The house is very cute and comfy, nicely decorated and very clean. We really enjoyed the backyard patio and watching the fireflies. Several great wineries are nearby, so it is a great spot for a weekend wine tour.

Weekend stay

It was a wonderful house. A great location to the wineries and breweries close to all of them. The only issue was not with the house but there is no good cab service Uber or Lyft in the whole area.

Amazing property

Had a group of friends staying here and there is no shortage of activities around the area. House is just big enough for sleeping and a few hangout areas inside. Outside patio is a good spot to hangout and enjoy the weather. Host was very responsive and made sure we had all we needed and the house was clean upon arrival. Would definetly recommend and will return!

Perfect Family Visit

Perfect property for anyone looking to explore the area or spend time with family and friends! The house is very clean, the kitchen is well stocked and the coffee station area was greatly appreciated. Holly's communication and customer service is top notch. Lovely stay and great location

My family stayed at Holly’s place for UVA’s graduation weekend. The house was the perfect size for our group and in an ideal location close to UVA and the Afton/Crozet wineries/breweries. The house was clean, living spaces were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. It was in a quiet, idyllic location surrounded by woods and well kept homes. We would absolutely recommend “Time to Wine Down” to friends and would stay here again when the opportunity arises. Thanks, Holly!

Top 3 Stay! Very memorable & great communication from the host

This is by far one of the best stays I've had. The decor and furniture make the house feel so cozy. I felt so comfortable due to all the extra touches like well stocked coffee area, plenty of hangers in each closet, wine mini fridge, the outside area, etc. I could have been fooled into thinking I was at a friend or family's house because of how at home I felt. Holly's communication and customer service is top notch. I would definitely stay there again or one of her other properties based on the service and experience I had.

Pleasantly surprised!

The host did an amazing job renovating this house. Everything was new and updated. She was quick to respond to everything! Loved having extras like Shampoo, conditioner, kcups, dishwasher tabs, cleaning supplies etc. Very impressed with the new appliances! The bedrooms are small but good enough for a quick vacation. The outdoor space is amazing! Check in and out was super easy. Everything seemed very very clean and well taken care of. I would highly recommend. The only cons were that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. These mattresses can use an update. And the bathroom downstairs needs some ventilation. 5 stars!!! Definitely would recommend!
