This is not what we expected, it was an apartment far from the beach. We thought we were going to rent a hotel room next to the sea, it was misrepresentation, we had other options but because of the information we had we decided this was a better option, we where very disappointed. The apartment was clean and the owner was very helpful.

Great place ti escape canadian winter

My husband and I stayed at Jorge apartments for over 3 months escaping the winter in Canada. Both apartments are very clean and comfortable. There is 3 big swimming pools in the complex. They are never crowded. The apartments complex is very quiet, landscaping is beautifully. It feels like 5 stars resort. Jorge is a supershost. He will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable there. I would definitely go back there.

The kitchen is very small. The front deck really has no view at all and around 3 pm it is in full sun and is too hot to sit in. The pools are great. The trolleys that take you around are impossible to time. There is a lot of waiting for them. Jorge the manager is fantastic and takes care of everything immediately. the cleaning ladies were fantastic. The tv has no English channels unless you have your own Netflix account.

Our stay was so incredible that we extended it by two extra nights and wished we could have stayed even longer! As a solo mom traveling with my 8-year-old and our dog, safety is my top priority. I felt completely secure, even when walking our dog at night. The community is wonderfully welcoming, and every staff member was respectful and friendly. The internet was strong and stable, allowing me to work remotely without any issues. The living room, although small, was cozy and featured a smart TV. The bedroom had a comfortable king bed, and my son loved the trundle bed. Be mindful that the room can get hot due to direct sunlight, so keeping the shades down during the day helps. Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room, along with air conditioning in all rooms, kept us cool and comfortable. The bedroom also had a smart TV. The restaurants at the country club were absolutely delicious—we ate most nights within the country club! The pool was pristine, and on many occasions, we had it all to ourselves. The condo was perfect—super comfortable, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The balcony was a fantastic extra; I had such peaceful mornings sipping my coffee, often visited by beautiful yellow birds. The closest AKI supermarket was in Puerto Aventuras which was a 15 min drive, or in Tulum town which was 25 min drive. Highly recommend having a car! This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommend!

A great escape!

We had a great 2 day stay at Terrazas Condos. Loved our Condo! It has everything you need. The decore is modern, well appointed and the King bed is very comfortable! Just pack your personal items and away you go. We travelled to the Resort by taxi and then toured around outside the Resort using the Colectivo, to visit other destinations close by. There are no stores in the Resort to purchase groceries so we picked up what we needed in Akumal Pueblo. The resort is beautiful, the beaches are gorgeous and the Kay Beach Club restaurant is great for lunch and snacks. Enjoyed our first night’s supper at the Tulum Country Club it was really good 😋 the service was good the ambience was amazing in Al fresco style!

Nice room, safe in locked community, strong smell inside

The owner, Jorge, was very quick to reply to my question about not receiving the necessary QR codes to get into the gated residence. Also, there was a dead battery on the door lock when we arrived, and Jorge was very quick to get help from the hotel staff! Thank you! From the bedroom, kitchen, and balcony, there is a nice view of the jungle across the street, and the mattress is firm. We liked watching the bats fly over the trees at dusk, and saw some animals, lots of birds. The kitchen was well-stocked, though I did not see a coffee maker, so we went to Akumal for coffee, and brought our own water, as we were not sure about potable water from the sink. We did not explore the pool at all. The condo complex was mostly quiet. Mostly we just heard some conversations from the parking lot. Christmas Eve was noisier with families having parties, which is understandable. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a trolley that comes through the complex, and it can take you down to the Kay beach club, where you could access the beach. We went to the Casa Club to get a schedule of the trolley. This schedule would be helpful to have in the room, if the times stays the same throughout the year. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke and ammonia in the room, so if you are sensitive to smells, this could be an issue. We got more used to it as the days went on. We got little bug bites (not from mosquitos, as I react differently) only while staying there, so the room may need to be treated for bugs (maybe bed bugs, or fleas). Hard to say where the bites came from exactly, as bugs are everywhere, of course, but we only got them the last couple nights we stayed there. If you are looking for a good value in the area, you could find it here.

Schönes Appartment, aber kaum Ausgehmöglichkeiten

Das Appartment an sich ist super. Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zum Strand fährt man im einem Shuttle das ca einmal in der Stunde kommt. Der Strand an sich ist auch schön, hat aber zurzeit ein riesiges Algenproblem. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat, ist dass man in der Umgebung kaum Restaurants bzw gar keine Supermärkte hat. Ohne Auto kannst du gar nichts machen, noch nichtmal Wasser holen. Da wir aber nur zum Strand für 2 Tage wollten, hat sich ein Auto nicht gelohnt. Wer also diese Ruhe und Isolation gerne hat, ist hier genau richtig!

One bedroom in tulum private community resort

The location is about 10 minutes from tulum downtown. It also is 5 min away from beachfront restaurants and the beach. It has a daily trolley every 30 min for free that takes you to the beach every 30 min during daylight hours. It has amazing pools that you have access to in the private resort community. Very safe and it’s surrounded by nature.

Excellent host

The apartment was small, but "modern". Clean, and good air conditioning! But, I do have to say that best part was the host. He was very attentive, and even responded to all of my my questions! (I had a lot)
