“Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6 1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. I raised a complaint with Expedia on our return and the property have refused to take any accountability for the problem. Expedia were very good dealing with the complaint though 2) The……

“The actual apartment itself was great - updated, had a few dishes for cooking, clean, plenty of space for luggage! The entrance was easy to find, but was a little wonky! overall, great experience! Super close to everything walking or driving which was amazing. ”

“One of the best hotels we stayed in Iceland! The room to the balcony was exceptional. The hot tub overlooking the city was amazing! Definitely recommend staying here! Amenities were updated in short don’t think twice about booking here!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. ”
