「Very warm and helpful staff. Breakfast is simple but just fit. It is a bit difficult to drive there but the hotel provided detailed route.」

「The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.」

「I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

「We never stayed at this property because it was nearly impossible to access by car. The apartment is located high in the Albaicín, and reaching it required carrying our luggage up extremely steep streets and hills. This was never made clear before booking. The host even told us beforehand that the area was “very difficult to navigate and find parking,” yet failed to explain how difficult it actually is to reach the apartment from the parking lot. What was most disappointing was the terrible...
