“While the property itself for very nice, its location is not as convenient as it seems. It is located in south trastevere which requires you to still uber/public transport into the main trastevere area.”

“This apartment is on a very quiet street, with pedestrian-only streets all around it. It is in close proximity to an abundant number of good restaurants (all rated 4 stars and above on google). We enjoyed the ambiance of Travestere. The apartment was exactly as advertised; good working AC and a comfortable bed. It was very clean. The host was very prompt with communication and flexibility to let us check-in early and depart a bit later than the 10 am check-out time. We would recommend this……

“Perched above Trastevere, walkable to so much but removed from the tourist chaos of the other side of the river—this was the perfect location. Having roof terrace access, great for sunset views and getting your bearings. A quiet, small top-floor property—don’t let the tiny elevator scare you off. This IS a small family-run place—no big lobby and the rooms are all right next to each other, but the rooms themselves are quiet and a great deal for being within walking distance to so much in Rome.”

“The staff at Sonnino Suite were extremely friendly and accommodating! The rooms are clean and the location is excellent without having to pay those high prices. This neighborhood is the perfect, central location for visiting all the attractions in Rome by foot or public transportation Sonnino Suite provided the comfortable, peaceful home base that's needed when your days are filled with exploring!”

“We enjoyed our stay! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was our favorite thing. The cons: our room was fairly small and you had to step up another level to get into the bathroom. Because of this, in the middle of the night, my husband fell and cut his arm badly. The staff was very nice though, and tried to take care of the cut. It was hard to find the doors Into the hotel and the doors out of the hotel if that makes sense.”

“This stay was absolutely lovely!! Clean amenities, comfortable beds. Everything aside from a washing machine, that you could want on an overseas stay. The beds were comfortable, the hairdryer was actually a good one (for those ladies that have crazy hair like me) and the AC worked great! The host was fabulous and even helped us with our bags to our apartment that was a block away from the hotel location itself. Speaking of location, this is by far the best place to stay when in Rome. Trastevere……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Xenia guest house. The rooms were perfectly clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The location was ideal for walking to all of the sites, but it was also very easy to hop on a bus, train, or taxi right outside the property. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome!”
