“The cottage we stayed in was very private and cozy. The bed was super comfy and nice bedding too. We asked for a second lamp so we could each read at night and they were very accommodating. The cottage is a little funky/old and didn’t seem 5 star clean, but was very comfortable for our 2 nights there. ”

“This place is magical. While the main building (with an excellent restaurant) is stately and unique, we stayed at The Brambles in a redwood grove. Being from Santa Cruz, we’re used to redwoods, but these trees—especially the Pachyderm—are amazing. The combination of Steam Punk and farmhouse decor is whimsical and delightful. The Front Door rooms are spacious and lovely. Our only tiny suggestion is that the shower heads are cleaned of hard water build up frequently. The shower flow came……

“My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and it was perfect! There was so much room and natural light (everything I could want in a home!). The view of the ranch across the street and the ocean were a nice treat. The location was great, close to Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The only issue we had was the cleaning person was there, mopping the floors, 15 min after check in. I was incredibly anxious to check in so I could hang up my dress, so it was a little weird to have the person still there……

“Amazing spot, just my husband and I. We loved the unique touches inside, obviously artists who decorated/designed it. The garden area is sweet and being able to go right to the cliffside is fabulous. There is a fox, quail and a hummingbird that hovered 1 ft from me, never been that close to one. So peaceful and serene. So beautiful.
