Childers Chalet – Cozy Mountain Retreat in Towamensing Trails

Welcome to Childers Chalet, a comfortable and inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located in the desirable Towamensing Trails community in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by nature and close to top Pocono attractions, this chalet is the perfect escape for families, couples, or small groups.

Bachelor Trip in the Mountains

4 of my friends and I stayed at this property for a small bachelor weekend. The property was great for us, and I can imagine it would be great for families. Having laundry on site was extremely helpful. The host was very responsive and was there for any questions I had. I would definitely visit again.

A great place to stay over with the family.

Amazing place to stay over with family or friends, the house was very clean, big and cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The person who helped us with the process was very nice and kind, if we had any questions they replied very fast i highly recommend this place as we spent a grate time for Christmas with the family.

Great secluded spot

We really enjoyed our week here. On your own cul-de-sac, surrounded by woods. Clean and tidy. Nice hot tub. It rained a lot during our week, but no problem, we played ping pong and darts and pool. Nice relaxing week in a top notch property. We booked our Autumn vacation here before we checked out!

Great get away with plenty to do!

We had a great time at the property for our Christmas get away. There is so much to do. The house is well stocked and even had some Christmas decorations. The teens love all of the games and amenities.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

We had an amazing weekend away at this mountain retreat. Property was exactly as advertised and Brittany was easily accessible for any questions. Quiet location and property, would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to retreat to the mountains!

Quiet weekend away

Took out adult kids and their partners away for the weekend. Had a great time relaxing and spending time with each other. Game room, pool table and hot ton were a hit. Beautiful location. Saw many deer.

Had a wonderful time. The only downside is having to take the trash a few miles down the road when u leave. Was an extra 15 min which kind of stinks. Otherwise awesome location, house, hot tub!!

Stayed here for a long weekend Thursday to Sunday for checking out Jim Thorpe and surrounding areas. Great space, the house was clean and had a lot of amenities (favs being the hot tub, ping pong table, and pool table). Easy ride into Jim Thorpe and the host was very easy to get in touch with whenever I had a question about anything

Great spot in a beautiful area

Property is well kept and fit our needs perfectly. Easy check in and clear instruction on everything within the house. Communication with management was prompt and complete. I would certainly book a stay here again.

Overall we had a good stay at this house. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is no shortage of deer at dusk and dawn. My two older sons enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, plates, silverware and small appliances. The house could use some updates like the one couch, and definitely a new set of towels. The couch and throw rug had a lot of dog hair which you’ll have if you allow dogs which I did appreciate. I tried using the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the rug but the vacuum cleaner was struggling with picking up the hair. A new vacuum cleaner would be helpful too.

Ski Weekend

Great weekend with friends & family. Location was great. Only wish ceiling fan in loft worked. Enjoyed the fireplace. Poker table was broken and in the corner in the game room but was able to use the kitchen table for card games. Hot tub was a great amenity. Over all great weekend with the snow & skiing.

Great Time at Wonderful House

Loved the house. Was clean and enough beds. Deers greeted us on our arrival. Home was spacious and kids loved the game room. Dog loved the backyard a s woods. Happened to be very cold the weekend we stayed so couldn’t enjoy much of the outdoors. Only downside is the township didn’t plow or salt any of the local roads but other than that appreciate the hospitality

Ski Weekend

We had a fabulous time staying here. Everything was clean and felt very safe. We enjoyed the hot tub and game rooms. We stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday weekend and went skiing. Everyone we met in the towns round the rental were very kind and even offered us recommendations. Brittany was very responsive to our questions and was extremely helpful. Getaway weekend

Great stay in Albrightsville! Very spacious and clean for our stay. We had 6 people stay and everyone had their own bed which was nice. Great entertainment space and a nice jacuzzi to enjoy at night, and a game room. Everything you need was available from washer and dryer to all kitchen essentials. Brittany our host was so attentive and kind, she even came to help us late at night when we needed assistance. I highly recommend this place. You will love it.

True Pocono country living

House met all our needs and more. Scenic location with deer arriving early every morning and late evening. Enjoyed the comfortable master bedroom accommodations. Other 2 bedrooms were not used but there was TV in every room. Had a hot tub but we didn’t use it. Great central location too! We recommend it for those who want a great Spring experience!
