“Great location to the strip. Nice big rooms complete with large kitchen and bathroom - perfect for 3 or 4 people. Pool area was really good including the bar. Bit of a walk to the beach but not too bad at all. Can be a bit noisy as allows pets but other than that brilliant stay! ”

“Narrowed down a shortlist to pick this property. Liked it a lot due to being quiet as only 19 rooms in total to share nice swimming pools as only a handful of people were using them. Need a hire car though to get around to many places nearby but journeys are around 10-25 mins to vast array of beaches and decent outlet shopping place. Overall very clean and air conditioning works well but was only in the main room so could get stuffy in other room. Shower works great, had two balconies to catch……

“Been to these apartments a few years ago and it looks like it has changed hands. The apartment is in need of repair the patio door was broken couldn’t lock, the shower was broken and the kettle kept tripping the electric. No clean towels and the patio area needed a brush as glass was all over it sorry to say won’t be going back there also seagulls in the pool ”

“The apartment was very nice, overlooking the pool. Every morning we awakened to the most beautiful sunrise. The town of Olhos de Agua is tiny (population 4,000 approx.), but the locals are very nice. Local restaurants and coffee shops are not all open in February, but were beginning to open by the end of the month. It's just a short walk to the ocean, and we did a great deal of walking. However, there is very good bus service between the towns in the Algarve and also train. It is a good vacation……

“We (a family with 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The apartment is clean and located in a lovely area. Alain, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. “Our stay at the apartment was perfect for our needs. The house is spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped with all the appliances needed. The position is also very good, just 10 min walk from the closest beach and from the bars and clubs of albufeira. To be noted the host is really helpful. The communication and the check in were smooth and efficient. We also remained closed out of the house and she managed to help us within a few hours. Absolutely recommend. 10/10”

The one downside to checking in was the timing was quite late at 5pm. however as it’s was only one night, and the complex is huge, I tried to walk to reception twice in the space of 90 minutes upon checking into my room and became completely lost. “Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
