Thank you for your observations. It appears that your stay at our home was your second experience with VRBO. I assume as you use the service, you’ll gain more insight into the differences and range of offerings. I assume you’ll find you will be more comfortable staying at corporate owned/operated listings or privately owned spaces that are located separately from the host. I choose to open part of our home to others solely in order to share the incredible view. I feel so blessed to have it and to have a home that supports sharing it. The area we offer to guests connects directly with the rest of our home thru 2 doors. They are locked. Both were custom installed to provide the maximum amount of sound reduction. The third locked area contains the hot water heater. The patio area we created for guests contains 2 seating areas. One is 100% private and the other is not. By keeping the second area open, we also can enjoy the city skyscape and mountains. You didn’t mention seeing me watching TV. If you had, you would have noted that I also wear shorts, in my home, during the summer. The kitchenette area has a microwave and air fryer. The air-fryer deep fries, toasts, bakes, broils, has a rotisserie, slow cook, roast and dehydrates. I apologize. I didn’t install a cook top. There is a washer and dryer. I ask for a donation. By definition, it is not a requirement. We live in the desert. Everything is built on sand. I request you remove your shoes solely to cut down on the amount of sand brought into our home. I agree, putting your shoes on and off whilst unpacking is excessive. You mentioned an assumption of why I offer to wash your dishes and dispose of your trash. You are correct, it’s a preventive effort to keep ants from the inside of our home.

The carpet has been removed and the floors tiled with Spanish tiles. We hope guests enjoy the updates.
