「It was a travel in time kind of experience, you can feel the serenity and walking through the wide hallways and getting into the room was like getting inside a real monastery room. The ambiance was minimalist and peaceful.」

「Melissa was a very accommodating and welcoming host. We had a lovely stay at By the Sea and wish we could have stayed longer. The bathroom was clean and the room was nicely decorated. There was even a hanger to put on the balcony to dry our clothes. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and everything was close by. 」

John called at four to remind me, and when I got lost a few blocks from the hotel, he guided me effortlessly. It is an older hotel, but clean, comfortable and welcoming. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay!」
