“Bed older and stiff, not too comfy”

“Bed was not comfortable at all, too small and not sturdy. People were smoking week outside from the other room.”

“I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden.”

“Great space, lots of natural light and nicely finished unit with a fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for the price. No staff on-site but they are very responsive by phone, which was reassuring. Only suggestion I would have is to include a usb-c or usb-a port somewhere in the unit (we forgot our charging brick, but assumed there would be a port to plug a cable into like most hotels have now in a lamp base or integrated into an electrical outlet).”

“This was not the hotel portrayed in the Expedia ad, The outside was terrible as was the inside. The coffee maker didn't work, and the tv remote had a mind of it's own. The hydro went off at 6:30 am, so no air conditioning , or breakfast . The mattress and lamp shade, were terribly stained, so we slept on top of the bed, instead of in it. The carpet was stuck down with duct tape in areas, and the room had not been dusted in ages. If I do not get a full refund from Expedia I will never use them……

“Everything is fine except that the receptionist on ground floor was away for a long time. He left a contact number to call, but I thought he'd be back soon so decided to wait at the lobby for half an hour. Still no show.”

“Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The bed was not clean upon arrival, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Only two small towels were provided in the room, which was insufficient. The shower mixer was broken and difficult to use, and the bathtub curtain had a strong unpleasant smell, making the bathroom experience uncomfortable. Overall, the room was not properly maintained, and the stay did not meet even basic expectations. We would not recommend this hotel based on our……
