“Spent morning sitting in front room watching the tide come in before going out exploring. Is a very cute place in a very quiet neighborhood. Only drawback could be how small the bathroom is but it’s doable. We had a great time and would stay again.”

“The property was great and a very convenient location to the beach, shops, and pier. They have everything you could possibly need except food and clothing! Very clean, TVs and ACs in every room. The only challenge as others mentioned is parking. It is a tight fit and if your tires are on the sidewalk you can be ticketed. “We loved being right on the beach!! We walked into Ogunquit each day and did the Marginal way. The cottage is small but well equipped and we were very comfortable. Great stay!!”

“While the photos look great, there were sadly quite a few things wrong with the place. A clogged bathroom sink; paint and drywall peeling; a stove stop that was so greasy we did not dare use it; the main kitchen light fixture barely hanging on. Not t mention the sofa whose springs literally jump out to greet you when you sit on it. Which means that you lose 2/3 of available seating. This was incidentally brought up in 2022 by another guest. “I’ve been visiting York for the past fifteen years, and have stayed in a number of rentals. I don’t think I’ll ever find a better location than this house. The proximity to short sands and downtown is ideal, especially for those with kids. The owners were delightful and responsive. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay!”
