「Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. 「Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay.」

「My wife and i and another couple had a great stay in Lewisburg at this cute cottage. The porch space is the highlight and we enjoyed coffee in the morning and unwinding at night out there. The downstairs bathroom and shower are amazing! The best part was the location. We walked to 4 different awesome restaurants, all within 3 to 4 blocks, as well as all the downtown shops. Elinor was great with communication and made the stay very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!」

「Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day.」

「1 night stay during road trip. House was great, everything you need. Yard a little small for our dog, but we were able to walk her around the neighborhood. Since we were only stopping thru, didn't see much of the area, but the mountain views walking around were stunning. We were there during a heat wave, but house was cool and comfortable. Appliances are top notch, kitchen very well stocked. TV viewing choices were best in any VRBO we've stayed in...every channel/premium channel you could ask...

「Great attention to detail. Hosts left extra surprises (including fresh flowers!!!) and provided everything we would need for our stay. The flat was clean, private/quiet, and communication and checking in and out were a breeze. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10!」

「Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. 」

「Very nice property」

「My husband and I wanted a weekend away from the world to get peace and quiet. This was most definitely the place. Absolutely adorable place and away from it all! Very comfortable setting and loved watching the baby deer and its parents walk past the cabin. 」

While we had neighbors, it was very private and a very large and secluded large lot. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!We loved the location. 「Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...
