“This review may be long, but it lets you know all that you need to know about staying in one of the 4 person cabins. We stayed in cabin 2 "Big Mike." To start, I would give this place 10 out of 5! We read ahead of time that check in was just walking in. Upon arrival, our cabin was open and the keys were on the table. Everything you need is there! The pictures online do not do the cabin justice and REALLY need to be updated. We overpacked in preparation of needing a lot of things that were……

“My husband, dogs and I needed a place to stay for two nights before heading to Mackinac Island for a week. This house was PERFECT! It was clean, cozy, awesome yard, had everything needed for a stay. Host was great at communication. Answered questions promptly. Very accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!”

“This is a basic rural motel. It was wife approved clean, in room coffee was bad, inexpensive so could go out to restaurant for real good breakfast. Value was a Nine out of Ten. Quiet, easy to use, on the way to where we were headed. Wife says we can stay there again.”

“Our first time in the U.P. so we were going in blind. House was exactly what we needed for our group. If your looking for fancy, this isn't the place but definitely adequate and was well stocked with everything you would need away from home. The road is very busy and loud with lots of truck traffic so that is something to consider if you like peace and quiet. The house sits back off the road though. The secluded beach makes up for the busy road and makes the location well worth it.”

“My family and I book a week long stay in the UP every year, we usually pick a new area to explore. This year's vacation was very disappointing. The bugs were absolutely awful, and trust me I know the UP has bugs, but it was to the point of we couldn't even be outside even with bug spray on. I wish the owners would spray/fog regularly to help with this. Also the paddle boat and canoe were both dirty with bugs and bird poop to the point of us have to clean before use, we left the canoe alone after……
