「Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough. Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. 「Room 3, an Indugence Room. I’d say it could be more indulging - larger bed, mattress topper, bathrobes - for example. Unfortunately it’s above the pub so can be noisy, especially when the staff run up and down the creaky stairs - we spent the night in our room and it was a constant irritation. But other than that, the food is excellent, lovely decor, nice atmosphere, and Stockbridge is awesome.」
