Mountain Getaway

Great weekend getaway. Quiet and peaceful location close to everything. Hot tub was fabulous but code in welcome book needs updated. Highly recommend.

Peace & Tranquility

Wonderful property with great views and plenty of privacy. The cabin was great for our group of 2 couples, with the bedrooms having their own bathrooms and being on separate sides of the cabin. It was amazing to be able to use the hot tub and look at the stars. Would definitely return!

Regenerative Ski Trip

Mountain Zen served as a fantastic base camp for our winter adventure around Ruidoso, Alto, and Ski Apache. Washer/Dryer meant that we could pack lighter. Solid kitchen and grill meant meals together at 'home.' Hot tub offered a therapeutic way to unwind together. Solid experience!

Getting away from Texas heat

My husband and I came up to the area for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and to get away from the Texas heat. We had a very nice time. The rental was very clean and had the privacy we were looking for, the hot tub was so very relaxing and I love the way they had it set up so you felt at peace and not worried if your were being watched. The cabin was very clean, cozy and peaceful. The back porch had plenty of places to sit if you were lookin to watch the wildlife, read a book, watch the sun reflect off the amazing mountain. Loved all the giant boulders they really are beautiful but they made the scenery unique and enjoyable. Looking forward to staying again.

Nice cabin

Very nice cabin. Hot tub was nice and the cabin felt homey while still being plenty spacious. The hammock chairs on the back porch where a very nice touch.

Alto Cabin

We love this property. It was super cute. The manager worked with us on the dates which was really nice. The only problem that we had was the washer and dryer didn’t work.

Heavily smoked (cigarettes) in house that was not mentioned in the listing. I could not sleep in the master bedroom due to the odor. Air fresheners would help. Other than that, the house and area was nice. Communication with the host was good.
