For the most part we enjoyed our visit. It was a very clean hotel. The breakfast was really good and it was kept stocked all the way up until it was supposed to close. We asked for no housekeeping (we stayed 4 nights) and they were gracious when we exchanged out dirty towels for clean towels.
We only had 2 mishaps that prevented us from giving a full 5 stars. When I walked into the lobby to check in, the desk clerk asked in a very curt voice, "Checking in?" I said yes and she immediately said, "I need your ID." I had only walked two steps into the lobby. I was really far away from the desk, so if I did get out my ID when she asked, I would be holding it while walking the distance from the door to the desk.
One of the days we stayed it snowed, so we turned the temperature up on the thermostat. The heater did not turn on. We called the front desk and were told someone would come up. No one ever came up. I mentioned it to the desk clerk when I checked out. Instead of apologizing, she asked, "Did you push both buttons?" I said yes and she just shrugged her shoulders. I was expecting at least an apology for no one coming up to our room, but I just got the shrugged shoulders.
