We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. “Room was adequate, sadly it left a lot to be desired regarding cleanliness. The bottom of the inside of the wardrobe was thick with dust, as was the dressing table unit. One of the cups supplied for coffee hadn’t been washed properly. Although there was tea and coffee supplied there was no milk. The tv could only be switched on/off at the plug located on the wall behind the tv which was thick with dust too. Even the top of the peddle bin in the bathroom needed a good wipe. Bed linen was……

“Dusty room in areas. Rubbish behind bedside cabinet. Couldn’t get to plug easily to charge my phone as it was behind the cabinet and when pulled out there was thick dust and rubbish behind it. No deep clean for a long time. Dirty windows, old cobwebs around it. Pool was not in use so very disappointed as we had stayed there for this reason. ”
