"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay.

"Excellent location to explore the Lake District. Very clean house! It was an experience in itself! Very clear instructions everywhere in the house! Loved it! Would highly recommend!"
"Great location and great, safe private parking spot. Cottage is clean, spacious and cosy. Cottage is a little old fashioned, and needs a bit of TLC but the basics are all there and some nice touches- milk in fridge, bread, butter, eggs, tea coffee etc supplied. Would stay again as reasonably priced for what it is."
"Fell View is the most lovely get-away cottage. It is perfect for two people! I love where it is, and despite being in the middle of town, it seemed private, and cosy. I wish we could have stayed longer. I could not recommend this cottage highly enough."
"The cottage is well equipped for self-catering for a family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space in the living / dining areas.
Quiet and with easy access to the heart of Ambleside, it is in a great location."
"Beautiful central little cottage which has everything you could possibly need. Exceptionally clean and the most comfortable bed. Pet friendly with extra throws for the furniture. Lovely little touches like chocolates, milk, tea and fruit on arrival. Fresh flowers too. Easy walk into town and good roads to surrounding areas."
"We have been staying at the cottage for a number of years.
Perfect location.
This year the property wasn't very clean as I would expect.
Wish have bath sheets and not a small bath towel.
But worth staying at the property or Heather cottage. I believe owned by same owners"
"The house was absolutely charming and so cozy and comfortable for our family. We loved that we all had our own space but could still share meals and relax together."
"We had an excellent stay with an amazing view of lake Windermere. Our two boys had good reviews of the apartment which is unusual. The apartment was very well kept and very comfortable ♥️"

Wonderful and engaging hosts and great location within easy reach to the village centre. Slight efforts required if you have heavy luggage and are booked on the upper floors.

Staffs are polite, considerate, responsible, friendly and eager to answer questions. Room is clean, quiet and comfort. Location is very good, near the main bus station. Breakfast is acceptable in both varieties and quantities. However, one should pay attention that there is no lift. It is rather difficult to take your heavy baggage up to the third floor.

Close to the lake yet far from the crowd - just across the road and up the small slope. Sarah is very helpful and chatty. Sister hotel Regent hotel offers dinner at good value and taste. Room is quite big and has nice ambience.
My room only has a side view of the lake - would be even better if full view can be available.
