“Lovely rustic villa in the foothills of the Apuan Alps with stunning views over vinyards, the town and the sea. We were warmly greeted by owners Francesca and Manu, who invited us to join them for a buffet and to taste some of the wine they produce. The villa is set on a steep hillside on 3 levels (so you need to be ok with going up and down stairs!) The pool is set on the same level as the ground floor and has seating and sunbeds alongside. The local ameneties in nearby Ripa are limited, but……

“Our group vacation was to reconnect five lifelong girlfriends. We brought our friends and families together too and the trip was magical. The villa is even more gorgeous in person. The landscaping, replete with natural beauty, is comfortable and inviting- flowers, herb and vegetable gardens, grape vines, and ponds with fish and frogs. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit because the pool saved us all on HOT July days and nights. The village is very small and intimate, atop narrow, winding, country……

While the roads leading to it are full of twists, bumps and hairpin turns, upon arrival you can fully appreciate the magnificent views as well as the home’s design and attention to detail. Franco and Pia are fabulous hosts and provided prompt answers to all of our queries along with restaurant suggestions and directions when needed. One night they arranged for a talented chef to prepare an exceptional dinner with……

“Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus in guter und ruhiger Lage sehr genossen. Ein problemloser Check-in, ein guter Kontakt zur Gastgeberin, die gute Ausstattung des Hauses und der Garten, der einen schönen Auslauf für unseren Hund bot, haben dazu beigetragen. Strand, kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß, in etwa 10 Minuten, erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal.”

“Een rustige plek te midden van diverse kleine dorpjes. De woning en bijwoning zijn ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad en de omliggende tuin is ruim en heerlijk. De woning ligt hoog in de bergen, de route ernaar toe is smal, heuvelachtig en niet altijd even makkelijk te bereiden. Hou hier rekening mee. Verder een top woning met de mogelijkheid om veel van de omgeving te verkennen. En een dik compliment voor het ontvangst en de vraagbaak Elettra! Tip: bezoek aan de stad Lucca, La……

“Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Villa hat eine traumhafte Sicht auf das Meer und ist ruhig, etwas ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums gelegen. In ca. 5 min. ist man am Strand und im Dorfzentrum. Monterosso ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um das Cinque Terre zu erkunden. Luigi und seine Frau sind sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber, denen am Wohl der Gäste gelegen ist.”

“Everything exceptional, the Villa, the hosts, the local area! The Villa was clean and comfortable, really felt like home! The outside dining area was superb and conducive to a number of great suppers and fine wine! The entire experience…relaxing! Simone and Angela were responsive and attentive, questions or concerns readily addressed. They provided recommendations and insights into the local area, things to see and places to dine! Overall, the Villa is a fantastic way to experience local culture……

“This villa is located halfway up the steps to the village of Corniglia. It overlooks a garden and has a water view. It is conveniently located to explore the other towns by train or walking. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and there are several small grocery stores in walking distance (up and down the stairs) to purchase local foods to self cater.”
