I stayed for two nights in a single room with a private bathroom. I really liked the concierges, and the location is perfect! The hotel was mostly clean, though a bit dusty. No aircon, so it was quite warm — I slept with the window open. Some noise from inside the building, but overall I’m happy with my stay.

Nice, quiet spot near museums. Rooms are simple and a bit dated, but staff is friendly. Steep stairs and limited amenities—good for budget travelers. Transportation is very convenient and easy. Would recommend

Three nights in Amsterdam

The Hotel is basic. Common areas a little tired. Room clean and modern, but basic no means to make a coffee for example. The hotel is a converted town house. Stairs very steep and difficult. Ours was a basement room with high windows at pavement level.

Property was functional, upkeep was fair and close to many areas in the De Piip neighborhood. Situated in a traditional Dutch home, it had no elevator only steep stairs to navigate. Decent stay, but may look for other options next time.

We stayed in the quadruple room, hotel staff was nice and the room was great & clean. As mentioned by the hotel the sound isolation is not the best, you might hear people walking through the corridors in the morning but it’s really not an issue. Besides that breakfast is good, the area is nice and quiet, and within walkable (less than 15 minutes) distance from Amsterdam.

It was quite for the most part, some of the tenants were noisy, but it is what it is. The front desk was helpful as they could be. The downside, housekeeping services took my personal towel, and the front desk made amends by giving me a free breakfast on the day I was checking out. Overall a wonderful experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again.
