Arriving at the hotel was a bit of a shock as we inadvertently arrived during the festivities of the dam to dam race. Thousands of revellers!! Our Uber driver could not approach closer than 400m, and we couldn't find the place. Rather than a monument of a building, it is a small boutique hotel and with no good GPS, we wandered around for a good 90 minutes looking for it. Initially there was no concierge in sight and we used a computer to tap in our information and get our room and cards. The room was nice though small.

Rooms were spotlessly clean , plenty of space , and the bed was so comfortable!! We even got some vouchers for free drinks in the bar as r rooms wernt ready the staff where very helpful

Lovely hotel, great location. Nice and clean.. heating and aircon, nice big hot shower.. great value restaurants, close to really good supermarket.. nothing negative to say .. would absolutely recommend and stay again.

15 minute walk from station . Hotel had reception from 10am until 11pm. Lots of restaurants around. Hotel provided us with a dinks voucher for the Eve restaurant next door. Check in easy

Nice place!

Very nice stay, we were early the staff let us check in at 2pm. Really close to lots of restaurants and shopping. 12min ride to Amsterdam Centraal.

The Monument Hotel was excellent. I loved there outdoor area just sitting and chilling. Laid back and the staff were attentive , friendly and helpful. Great food. The rooms were lovely modern and clean. I would definitely recommend the Monument for your stay in the beautiful Zaandam.

Lovely team and responsive. Beautiful space. Quaint interiors and nice surroundings. The aircon didn’t work strongly and windows didn’t open, which made it very hot. Very noisy at night but great location.
