Very convenient location which is few minutes from the Central Station and town Centrum. The rooms are small but they are clean with air conditioning and coffee cups (coffee machine at reception is free to use). The bathroom was small but since we only use the hotel to sleep with most of our days outside and about, it was a good choice for us. I would recommend.

Totally perfect location, super close to the central station and surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and venues. Staff was friendly, checking us in quick and efficiently. Only a couple small issues: the shower can easily make the bathroom a soaked flood if not cautious, the room was clean enough but not quite ideal, and the staircase up to the room was incredibly steep to get up (especially with luggage). Neighbouring rooms can be a bit loud so be sure to bring earplugs!

Das Hotel Sotel Amsterdam Central hatte sowohl positive als auch negative Seiten. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit des Zimmers zu wünschen übrig. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir am Vorhang Blutspuren, Make-up-Reste sowie weitere Verschmutzungen, die deutlich sichtbar waren. Auch nach dem Zimmerservice konnten wir noch Haare, Flecken auf den Bettbezügen und andere Verschmutzungen feststellen. Die Bilder, mit denen das Hotel wirbt, vermitteln zudem einen deutlich besseren Eindruck als den, den wir vor Ort vorgefunden haben. Das WC erfordert teilweise Akrobatische Fähigkeiten um genutzt zu werden. Positiv hervorzuheben ist jedoch das sehr bequeme Bett. Außerdem war trotz der direkten Lage am Bahnhof kaum Lärm zu hören, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sorgte. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Hotelpersonal, das jederzeit äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Bei Fragen zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Touren, Restaurants oder anderen Aktivitäten wurde uns stets kompetent weitergeholfen.
