Studio Apartment in cultural Amsterdam

These quiet situated Studios combine the comforts of home with a great location on the edge of the old city center. The Studios have their own private bathroom with shower, 2 excellent beds, WiFi and a TV/DVD/CDR-set to make your stay comfortable. Bed- and bath linen is included.
The Red Studio and Yellow Studio can accommodate 2 persons each.
The 'Studio formula' means self-catering, there is a coffee and tea, maker and a magnetron oven facility.
The Studios are on the 3rd floor, so you'll have to climb stairs. You'll have your own key to your Studio and the front door.
Reservations for weekends can be made only 3 weeks before the reservation date.

LOCATION IN THE CITY:
CULTURE
Nearby there are the beautiful 17th-century canals with their stately houses. In the museum quarter, you'll find the famous Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk- and Van Gogh museum as well as the Spiegel-quarter with its many antique shops. All are within walking distance.

SHOPPING
Deli's, supermarket, shops for daily needs, restaurants, and bars are just around the corner. A few hundred meters further on will bring you to the most exclusive shopping street in the city. A longer walk or a short tram ride takes you to the city's busy shopping center, with its large department stores, or the many markets, including the Flower market.

ENTERTAINMENT
The apartments are situated near the famous Leidseplein with its unique bars, grand cafes, restaurants, cinemas, clubs, concert halls, discos, and several theaters. The location provides entertainment for everyone.

LEISURE TIME
The Vondelpark is a stone's throw away for walking, in-line skating, biking or jogging. There are also several popular terraces to have a drink or lunch near one of the Dutch TV Studios. In summer there is a free open-air theater with concerts, dance programs, and theater. Boat- and bicycle rentals are close by.

Excellent location, accommodating host, everything you need in the neighborhood!
John and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Erwin and Karin. Our space was comfortable, everything you could possibly need if you were to actually cook. Bed, adjustable and comfortable. Stairs up to the apartment are 3 levels and are very steep and difficult if you have knee issues or breathing/heart issues. You have to keep in mind that you have to carry your luggage. We are in our 60's and we managed. All in all I would give Erwin and Karin 10/10! Amsterdam is awesome!

Wonderful stay in Amsterdam
Edwin and karan's studio was perfect for our short stay. We really appreciated the hospitality and advice that the host gave us. It was in a great location with in walking distance to public transport. The studio was a great size, immaculately clean with very comfortable beds. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great stay
We have a lovely stay. The hosts were very responsive and helped with any needs including umbrellas on our rainy days. The place was clean and had everything we needed. GREAT location. We walked or took the tram everywhere. Highly recommend a stay.

The apartment is exactly as described in the listing. There were lots of nice small touches that made our stay nicer than expected (guides, coffee, maps). The stairs are very typical Amsterdam which is how they are advertised in the listing! We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and could walk to everything of interest!

A Gem
This studio was wonderful. Located in a quiet part of Amsterdam and just a few minutes walk into the center of town. Access to public transportation is a few feet away and plenty of restaurants nearby. This studio is great for a couple or solo traveler. Comfortable and cozy. Hope to stay here again when we return in a couple years. Edwin and Karin are wonderful hosts and communication was excellent leading up to our stay. Can thank them enough for making this trip absolutely fantastic.

A wonderful stay in Amsterdam!
We loved staying at this apartment. It was on a small side street in a lovely area close walk to the museums and park. It is also a quick 15-20 minute walk to the center of town! Edwin was a wonderful host.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa deliziosa stanza nel periodo di capodanno. Alloggio perfetto:pulito, vicino al centro, con tutto l'occorrente per poter anche consumare un pasto veloce. Non ha cucina né microonde ma noi non abbiamo chiesto al proprietario perché non ci interessava. I proprietari sono stati veramente tanto tanto gentili! Consigliatissimo.

Wonderful
The hype is real – this flat is truly a gem! Centrally located and incredibly comfortable, this lovely apartment was the perfect place to regroup and relax after a long day on the town. We especially noticed and appreciated how thoughtful the hosts were at stocking the apartment with just about anything you could possibly need — from umbrellas, to covid tests, maps and lists of recommended restaurants, even a bottle of wine in the fridge! — to make our stay easy and enjoyable. As other reviews have mentioned, the stairs are quite steep (we may have broke a sweat getting our bags up to the room 😅) but don’t let that dissuade you from staying here. It truly was wonderful, and an incredible value! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, and am looking forward to booking another stay the next time I am in Amsterdam.
