“This is a superb place to stay! Very clean and walking distance to all activities in Amsterdam. Short Uber drive from the airport and to the museums…. I can not say enough about how accommodating Evert was with our stay. He is so very nice and even helped us with our luggage. The bed was so comfortable with luxury linens. Plenty of coffee, tea, beer, and wine.”

“Upon arriving I initially gave the space a 5 star rating - it’s adorable! After 3 days stay I need to adjust that downwards unfortunately… There was no hot water in the shower and the mini fridge wasn’t cold. After using the iPad provided for questions/complaints I found a number to call for maintenance but it was late and I simply showered at my daughter’s flat the next day. There was simply no water coming out of the hot water spigot in the shower although the sink worked perfectly. I got a……

“The room is situated in a very nice house on one of the amsterdam bridges. From architectural point of view is fantastic. However if you have a large suitcase forget to bring it to the room as you have a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Concerning noise, you will have the live with the tram crossing the bridge ... that is quite loud and you will have light very early as the blinds are not blocking the sun. For us all those points were some how acceptable as the place is lovely.……

“Lovely, clean room on a quiet street in De Pijp, near shops, restaurants and Metro. A short walk to museums and concert hall. We were there during a heat wave and so grateful for the air conditioning. The private balcony was great for breakfast on cool mornings. Ruud and Lisa were extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive, and even found time for a canal tour on their small boat, which was a highlight. As they clearly stated, the stairs are steep, as typical of those older Amsterdam……
