We were here for three nights and found it a very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, spacious, contemporary room with high ceilings. Beautiful breakfast room. Would stay here again if we’re ever back to Amsterdam.

Friendly staff and beautiful, quiet location with many food options close by. Close to central area and walkable from the hotel. Washroom fan was on the whole time and bathroom lighting was dim, but otherwise the hotel was beautiful and I would stay there again

Had a great short stay at the Lancaster. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. I found the staff polite and helpful. Also great to be so close to the Artis Zoo and tram stop.

Our room was very nice! We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness. We also thought the staff was helpful with suggestions. Some restaurants were near by. The trams ran near the hotel. A great experience!!

Firstly it wasn’t disclosed that the hotel was under construction. Ordered 2 twin beds, had to physically separate the beds ourselves, very tight space in room. Bathroom was tiny and shower very small and dark fan didn’t work, beds small , more like college dorm beds.The worse part was on our last night we saw cockroaches in room, killed one waking up wall, gross, it was latte after midnight when we returned to room , cockroaches, not a comfortable night.Did mention at check out, they were sorry. Staff were nice

Great hotel on the edge of Amsterdam. Very quiet . Nice cafes nearby and the zoo just across the road. For us a perfect location for everything we needed. Nice 20 min walk to all the things we wanted to visit.
